Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan keefektifan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Everyone is A Teacher Here (ETH) dalam pembelajaran matematika materi Keliling dan Luas Bangun Datar pada kelas XI SMKT Somba Opu Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa (2) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa, respons siswa, aktivitas siswa, kemandirian belajar siswa, dan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Everyone is A Teacher Here (ETH). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra-eksperimen yang melibatkan satu kelas (One Grup) sebagai kelas eksperimen atau kelas perlakuan (treatment). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMKT Somba Opu Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa dan sampel yakni kelas XI TKJ yang diajarkan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Everyone is A Teacher Here (ETH) yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling dengan pertimbangan bahwa kemampuan siswa diasumsikan homogen. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri data atas prestasi belajar siswa, data aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran, dan data respons siswa terhadap perangkat dan pembelajaran, data kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa, serta data kemandirian belajar siswa. Data aktivitas siswa dan respons siswa dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif sedangkan data prestasi belajar siswa, kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa, dan kemandirian belajar siswa dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Everyone is A Teacher Here (ETH) pada materi Keliling dan Luas Bangun Datar dalam kategori terlaksana dengan baik. (2) Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Everyone is A Teacher Here (ETH) pada materi Keliling dan Luas Bangun Datar pada siswa kelas XI SMKT Somba Opu Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa efektif ditinjau dari aspek: (a) Hasil belajar siswa dengan rata-rata skor post-test lebih besar dari rata-rata skor pre-test, rata-rata skor post-test adalah 84.09 ≥ KKM, Gain > 0.29 berada dalam katetogi tinggi, dan siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 90.00% > 80.00%; (b) aktivitas belajar siswa berada dalam kategori baik; (c) respons siswa berada dalam kategori positif, (d) kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa dengan Gain > 0.29 berada dalam kategori sedang, dan (e) kemandirian belajar siswa dengan Gain > 0.29 berada dalam kategori sedang. Hasil uji hipotesis pada taraf siginifikan α=0.05 dengan Uji-t menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tipe Everyone is A Teacher Here (ETH) efektif diterapkan di kelas XI Somba Opu Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa materi Keliling dan Luas Bangun Datar. Kata Kunci: Kooperatif tipe Everyone is A Teacher Here (ETH), Komunikasi Matematika, Kemandirian Belajar ABSTRACT The objectives of the research are to describe: (1) the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of Everyone is A Teacher Here (ETH) type in Mathematics learning in Circumference and Wide of Two-Dimensional Figure material in class XI at SMKT Somba Opu Sungguminasa Gowa District, (2) the student’ learning results, responses, activities, learning independences, and Mathematics communication abilities through the implementation of cooperative learning model of ETH type. The research was pre-experiment research which involved one class (One Group) as the experiment class or treatment class. The populations of the research were all of the students of class XI at SMKT Somba Opu Sungguminasa Gowa Discrict and the samples were class XI TKJ which was taught by employing cooperative learning model of ETH type who were chosen by using Simple Random Sampling technique with consideration the assumption that the students’ abilities were homogeneous. The data which were collected consisted of students’ learning achievements, students’ learning activities, students’ responses on devices and learning, students’ Mathematics communication abilities, and students’ learning independence. The data of the students' activities and responses were analyzed by using descriptive analysis while the data of the students’ learning achievements, students’ Mathematics communication abilities, and students’ learning independence were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the research reveal that: (1) the implementation of cooperative learning model of ETH type in Circumference and Wide of Two-Dimensional Figure material is implemented well, (2) the implementation of cooperative learning model of ETH type in Circumference and Wide of Two-Dimensional Figure material to class XI students at SMKT Somba Opu Sungguminasa Gowa District is effective based on the aspect: (a) the students’ learning results with the average score of post-test is higher than pre-test. The average score of post-test is 84.09 ≥ Minimum Completeness Criteria, Gain > 0.29 in high category, and the students who archieve completeness is 90.00% > 80.00%; (b) the students’ learning activities are in good category; (c) the students’ responses are in positive category; (d) the students’ Mathematics communication abilities with Gain > 0.29 is in medium category; and (e) the students’ learning independence with Gain > 0.29is in medium category. The result of hypotesis test at the significant level α = 0.05 with t-Test indicates that cooperative learning model of ETH is effective to be implemented in class XI at SMKT Somba Opu Sungguminasa Gowa District in Circumference and Wide of Two-Dimensional Figure material.
