Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi sosial siswa dengan temannya adalah pembelajaran kooperatif. Model pembelajaran kooperatif ada beberapa tipe, salah satunya adalah tipe Pair Check. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk latihan mengerjakan soal, memeriksa, serta mendiskusikan jawaban mereka, sehingga diharapkan model pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Pair Check dalam Pembelajaran Matematika Siswa Kelas XI IPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Wonomulyo dengan mengacu pada 4 aspek implementasi yaitu keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check, aktivitas siswa selama model pembelajaran tersebut diimplementasikan, hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah implementasi, dan respon siswa terhadap implementasi model pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Only Pretest-Posstest Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas sebagai subyek penelitian yaitu kelas XI IPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Wonomulyo dengan jumlah siswa 36 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi untuk mengamati aktivitas siswa dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, tes hasil belajar yang diberikan kepada siswa, dan angket respon siswa untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berhasil dengan baik, (2) aktivitas siswa selama implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check tergolong aktif, (3) respon siswa terhadap implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check tergolong positif. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hasil belajar siswa sebelum implementasi model pembelajaran mencapai 0% ketuntasan klasikal, (2) hasil belajar siswa setelah implementasi model pembelajaran mencapai 77,78% ketuntasan klasikal. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa Kelas XI IPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Wonomulyo berhasil. Cooperative learning method, there are several types, one of which is the type Pair Check. Cooperative learning with pair check type provides an opportunity for students to pratice working on, check out, and discuss their answer, so expected to improve the student learning achievement. The objective of this study was to know the implementation of cooperative learning model with pair check type on mathematic learning on grade XI Exact 5 students of senior high school. It referred to the four aspects of implementation, that is: (1) applicability of cooperative learning model with pair check type, (2) students activity during the learning model with pair check type, (3) students responses to the implementation of the learning model, and (4) student learning achievement before implementation, (5) student learning achievement after implementation, and (6) comparation of the student learning achievement before and after implementation. This study was pre-experimental research with One Group Only Pretest-Posstest Design. This study used a single subject were Grade XI Exact 5 Students of Senior High School 1 Wonomulyo consisted 36 students. The study was conducted during 3 meetings. Data collection techniques used were observation sheet to observe students activities and applicability of learning, test of learning achievement given to students before and after implementation, and the questionnaire responses of student to determine students responses to the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model Pair Check type. The results obtained from qualitative analysis show that: (1) applicability of learning succeeds better, (2) student activity during implementation of Cooperative Model Pair Check Type are at range of active, (3) students responses to the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model Pair Check Type rated positively. The results obtained from quantitative analysis show that: (1) student learning achievement before implementation is 0% clasical completeness, (2) student learning achievement after implementation is 77,78% calsical completeness, and (3) the average posttest score more than average pretest score. Based on these results, the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model with Pair Check Type on the Mathematics Learning on Grade XI Exact 5 Students of Senior High School 1 Wonomulyo was succes.
