Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aims to determine whether there is a connection limb length, running speed and explosive power leg with the long jump ability. This is a descriptive study with three independent variable is the length of the leg, running speed and explosive power leg with one dependent variable is the ability of the long jump. The population of this research is the class V and VI SDN Mangempang Barru. By random sampling selected a sample of 40 students. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, correlation coefficient analysis at the significant level of 0.05, with the help of a computer through the SPSS program. Based on the result: (1) There is a significant correlation between the length of the leg with the ability to long jump sixth grade students of SDN Mangempang Barru with r value of 0.830 (pvalue <α 0:05); (2) There is a significant relationship between running speed with the ability to long jump sixth grade students of SDN Mangempang Barru with r value of 0.792 (pvalue <α 0:05); (3) There is a significant relationship between the explosive power of the legs with a long jump ability of sixth grade students of SDN Mangempang Barru with r value of 0.787 (pvalue <α 0:05); (4) There is a significant relationship between limb length, running speed and explosive power of the legs together with the ability to long jump sixth grade students of SDN Mangempang Barru value (R) of 0.921 (pvalue <α 0:05); and the value of F (F) amounted to 67.269. Keywords: leg length, running speed and the explosive power of the legs, long jump athletics ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan panjang tungkai, kecepatan lari dan daya ledak tungkai dengan kemampuan lompat jauh. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan tiga variabel bebas yaitu panjang tungkai, kecepatan lari dan daya ledak tungkai dengan satu variabel terikat yaitu kemampuan lompat jauh. Populasi penelitan ini adalah siswa kelas V dan VI SDN Mangempang Kabupaten Barru. Secara random sampling dipilih sampel sebanyak 40 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis koefisien korelasi pada taraf signifikan 0,05, dengan menggunakan bantuan komputer melalui program SPSS.Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil: (1) Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara panjang tungkai dengan kemampuan lompat jauh siswa kelas VI SDN Mangempang Kabupaten Barru dengan nilai r sebesar 0,830 (Pvalue< α 0.05); (2) Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kecepatan lari dengan kemampuan lompat jauh siswa kelas VI SDN Mangempang Kabupaten Barru dengan nilai r sebesar 0,792 (Pvalue< α 0.05); (3) Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara daya ledak tungkai dengan kemampuan lompat jauh siswa kelas VI SDN Mangempang Kabupaten Barru dengan nilai r sebesar 0,787 (Pvalue< α 0.05); (4) Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara panjang tungkai, kecepatan lari dan daya ledak tungkai secara bersama-sama dengan kemampuan lompat jauh siswa kelas VI SDN Mangempang Kabupaten Barru dengan nilai (R) sebesar 0,921 (Pvalue< α 0.05); dan nilai Fhitung (F) sebesar 67,269.
