Abstract
Abstract: This study aims to: (1) describe the form of language style in the lyrics contained in several songs of the Sisitipsi music group; (2) Describe the meaning of the language style contained in several song lyrics of the Sisitipsi music group. This study uses a qualitative method. The data techniques are reading and analyzing. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that (1) the language style used in the analysis of the language style in the song lyrics of the sisitipsi music group was divided into two parts, namely rhetorical language style and figurative language style. The rhetorical language style contained in the song lyrics of the Sisitipsi music group includes alliteration, assonance, anastroph, asindenton, polisindeton, ellipsis, euphemism, pleonasm, prolepsis or anticipation, erotesis or rhetorical questioning, silepsis, hyperbolic, paradox and oxymorone. Second, the figurative language style in the lyrics of the Sisitipsi music group includes similes or equations, metaphors, personification or prosopopoeia, allusions, epithets, synokdoke and irony. (2) While the meaning of the language style used in the analysis of the language style in the song lyrics of the sisitipsi music group, there are two types of language style meanings obtained, namely the meaning of the connotative language style and the meaning of the denotative language style.
