Abstract
This research aims to result a virtual classroom mathematics learning media based on GC as a learning media which has a specification and are valid, practice, and effective. This research is based on educational Research and Develop (R&D) model adapted by 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) model. Data collected by validity questionnaires to show the validity of virtual classroom mathematics learning media based on GC, teacher and students response questionnaires to show the practicality of virtual classroom mathematics learning media based on GC, student’s motivation and independence learning questionnaires to show the effectiveness of virtual classroom mathematics learning media based on GC. The data is analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The result of this research shows that specification of virtual classroom mathematics learning media based on GC provides learning material and assignments in a digital classroom which has four main menus, are (1) Stream; (2) Classwork; (3) People; dan (4) Grades. The final result of this research shows that validity average of the media is in a valid category (4.06). Response result meets the practical criteria (82.5%) as the teacher’s response is in a highly positive category and the student’s response is in a positive category. The media has met the effectiveness criteria which is the result of student’s motivation in learning using the media is in high category (75%) and the student’s independence in learning using the media is in good category (57.5%).
