Abstract

Mathematics Education Postgraduate Program Universitas Negeri Makassar, Indonesia e-mail : imha1993@gmail.com ABSTRACT FATIMAH.2018. Analysis of teachers' difficulties in applying a scientific approach based on the 2013 curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa This research aims to obtain information about the difficulty of mathematics teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa in applying a scientific approach based on the curriculum 2013. This research is a qualitative research. The main instrument in this study is the researcher himself and the supporting instruments are in the form of RPP study sheets, observation sheets of instructional implementation and interview guidelines. The subject of this research is the teacher of mathematics SMPN 1 Sungguminasa Gowa regency as much as 2 (two) person that is teacher who teach on the same material at the time of this research executed. The results showed that: 1) subject 1 difficulty describe KD become indicator, 2) Subject 1 difficulty in linking the material with relevant knowledge and development of Science and Technology, 3) subject 1 difficulty mastering class, , 4) subject of difficulty in procurement of instructional media, 5) subject 1 difficulty leads students to observe media other than books. 6) subject 1 difficulties in providing student motivation to ask questions, 7) subject 1 difficulties in financial terms in facilitating student learning resources, 8) subject 1 difficulty directing Students analyze, relate and define in more detail about the material, 9) subject 1 difficulty directing Students identify and explain the material, 10) subject 2 difficulties in demonstrating something related to matter, 11) subject 2 difficulties facilitating students of media observations other than books, 12) subject 2 difficulties in motivating students to ask questions, 13) subject 2 difficulties in facilitating student learning resources, 14) subject 2 difficulty directing Students analyze, relate and define in more detail about the material, 15) subject 2 difficulty directing Students identify and explain the material. 16) subject 2 difficulty directing students present in writing and oral learning outcomes.
