Abstract
The background of this research is that the learning outcomes of grade VI students of SD Negeri Cisambeng 1, Palasah District, Majalengka Regency are still low. This research was conducted based on the results of observations on the sixth grade students of SD Negeri Cisambeng I, Palasah District, Majalengka Regency in thematic learning. Of the 16 new students, 7 students or about 43.75% reached the minimum completeness criteria. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of sixth grade students of SD Negeri Cisambeng I, Palasah District, Majalengka Regency. The method used in this research is classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles. The learning model used in this study is problem based learning (PBL). The research was carried out in two cycles. The conclusion that can be drawn from the results of the study is that the problem based learning (PBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class VI students at SD Negeri Cisambeng I, Palasah District, Majalengka Regency. In the first cycle 9 out of 16 children or 56.25% of students reached the minimum completeness criteria. In the second cycle, 14 of 16 children or 87.5% of students reached the minimum completeness criteria.
