Abstract

Abstract This study aims to produce a smart application for Android-based Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage guides, and to find out user responses to the development of an Android-based smart Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage guide application. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) which uses a prototyping development model with the following stages: gathering needs, building prototyping, evaluating prototyping, coding systems, testing systems, evaluating systems, and using systems. Applications built using Android Studio Software (Ver. 64 Bit). System testing is carried out using the ISO 25010 standard which uses four aspects of testing, namely functional suitability, usability, portability, and compatibility. The results of this study are 1) Application of guidance in helping pilgrims for Hajj and Umrah, especially in finding the location of the holy ground which is included with the prayers 2) The results of user responses to the Hajj & Umrah Guide application are in the very good category.
