Abstract

RAHMADANI, 2019 The Effect of Ability and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at PT. BPR HASAMITRA Makassar Head Office. Thesis of the Faculty of Economics, Makassar State University. Guided by Mr. Chalid Imran Musa and Mr. Ikhwan Maulana. The study aims to determine the magnitude of the Effect of Employee Ability and Work Motivation at PT Bpr HASAMITRA Makassar Head Office. The population in this study was 92 people and the sample used in this study was 48 people. By using the Purposive Sampling formula. Employees who are respondents are employees who have worked for more than one year. This is because in the first year of work the employee is still considered a trial period. When sampling Data collection is done using methods, observations, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used are multiple regression analysis and multiple correlation coefficient analysis and analysis of the coefficient of determination using the IMB Statistical Program for product anf service solution (SPSS) version 21. The multiple regression equation produces the equation Y = 1,699 + 0.508X1 + 0.432X2. T test results found that partially the ability to have a significant positive effect on employee performance and work motivation had a significant positive effect on employee performance. F test results found that simultaneous ability and work motivation had a significant positive effect on employee performance. The results of the analysis of Adjusted R Square of 72.6% which shows that the ability and work motivation is able to contribute to Employee Performance by 72.6% while the remaining 27.4% is influenced by other factors such as the work environment, due to work relationships that are still not harmonious and compact among fellow employees.
