Abstract

ABSTRACT Hasanuddin, 2019. The Analysis of the Relationship between the Company's Growth Rates toward Capital Structure at Food and Beverages Industry Companies Listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. Thesis. Faculty of Economics. Universitas Negeri Makassar. (Supervised by Drs. M. Yusuf A. Ngampo, M.M, and Samsinar, S.Pd., SE., M.Si., Ak., CA.) This study aimed at indicating the analysis of the relationship between the company's growth rates toward capital structure at food and beverages industry companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. The variables were growth rates as independent variable and capital structure as dependent variable. This research was non-experimental quantitative research. The population was entire food and beverages companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2015-2017. The sample was food and beverages industry companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange year 2015-2017 by using purposive sampling method. Technique of data collection used was documentation. Technique of data analysis was done by using correlation coefficient analysis with SPSS 20 for windows. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, it is obtained (r)=0.090 or 9%. This shows the relationship between growth rates and capital structure in the very low category. Keywords: Growth Rates, Capital Structure
