Abstract
Background: The majority of household waste of coastal communities in South Sulawesi was dumped into the beach. The behavior of these coastal communities is certainly not resposible for the environmental sustainability. Therefore it is necessary to provide guidance for littering behavior by analyzing the knowledge needed so that their behavior would be more responsible.
