Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of certified and uncertified teachers and the significant difference between certified and non-certified teachers at UPT SPF InpresPerumnas Makassar City. This study uses quantitative research methods with a descriptive quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were 27 teachers with a questionnaire instrument and then processed with descriptive statistical data analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis tests. The results of the descriptive analysis test on the performance of teachers who have been certified (X1) and who are not certified (X2). The results of the average value of teacher performance results (mean) for teachers who have been certified (X1) with an average of 85.38 and teachers who are not certified (X2) with an average of 83.71. thus there is a statistical descriptive difference. The results of data analysis obtained the value of sig. 0.029. It turns out that the value of sig. 0.029 is smaller than the probability value of 0.05 or the value of 0.029 < 0.05. Then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
