Abstract

This study aims to analyze the solar radiation intensity profile and estimate the radiation intensity based on the Angstrom equation for the 2011-2020 period in the Maros Karst Area of Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park. Profile analysis was carried out by plotting a graph based on the sun's declination.The prediction model is carried out based on the Angstrom equation using data on the sunshine duration, then the prediction results are compared with the observation data for 2011-2020. The test was conducted using Pearson correlation analysis and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). The data used in the form of secondary data for 2011-2020 consisted of monthly data on radiation intensity and sunshine duration obtained from the BMKG Maros Climate Station. The results of the profile analysis show that the radiation intensity shows a bimodal pattern, the Angstrom correlation coefficient is obtained a = 0.190 and b = 0.341x. The results of the analysis show that the prediction model is valid with a very strong correlation coefficient value of 0.9%, and RMSE 2.50.
