Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Google Classroom application in learning geography for class X students of SMA Negeri 14 Makassar referring to learning outcomes. This is a pre-experimental study involving one experimental group, namely class X MIPA 5 using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using learning outcomes tests and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is statistical analysis technique and product moment correlation. The results of the study stated that the use of Google Classroom on the geography learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 14 Makassar was not effective. The relationship between the two variables was tested for significant correlation coefficient with t test obtained tcount (2,386) > ttable (2,045), so that H0 was accepted with a contribution of 16.4025%. There are inhibiting factors, namely: constrained internet access and supporting factors, namely the application of Google Classroom and student motivation.
