Abstract

Abstract This Research and Development aimed to develop a Mindjet Mindmanager-based learning media for biology subjects in grade XI Senior high school which was valid and practical for the reproductive system lesson. The research procedure used in this study was the ADDIE model which consisted of five stages. They were analyze, design, develop, implementation, and evaluation. The research was located in SMA Negeri 11 Pangkep, Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi. The subjects of research were the students of XI Exact Avogadro class. The assessment of the validity of the learning media was carried out by two expert validators using an assessment of the validation of the learning media. The practicality of learning media was assessed based on the responses of teachers and students using a questionnaire that was declared valid by the validator. The result showed that the average value of the total validity of the Mindjet Mindmanager-based learning media was 4.10. This meant that the learning media was in the valid category. The average percentage of teachers response scores was 96% in the very positive category, while the average percentage of students response scores was 83.51% in the very positive category. When this learning media was in the very positive category, this learning media could be called a practical medium. Therefore, from the result of this study, it could be said that the developed Mindjet Mindmanager-based learning media had complied the criteria and practical.
