Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research is an experimental research study that seeks to know the differences between male and female students to see differences in science process skills, motivation and learning outcomes in biology learning by applying guided inquiry models. (1) the results of the study indicate that the application of the guided inquiry learning model can bring up the basic science process skills between students in the male and female XI science classes MA Al-Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka after being taught with the guided inquiry model. (2) The application of the guided inquiry model can increase the motivation of students in the male and female class XI IPA MA Al-Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka. (3) The application of the guided inquiry model can improve the learning outcomes of students in the male and female class XI MA MA Al-Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka. (4) There are differences in basic science process skills between male and female students of XI IPA MA AlMawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka after being given guided inquiry learning, female students are superior to male students. (5) There is a difference in learning motivation in male and female classes XI IPA MA Al-Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka after being given guided inquiry learning, female students have a superior score compared to male students as seen in the N-gain value of female students having a percentage of 60% in the medium category and male 73% in the low category. (6) There are differences in the learning outcomes of male and female students of XI IPA MA AlMawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka after being given guided inquiry learning, female students are superior to sons, on the N-gain value of male and female students are at moderate but in female students there are 7 students in the high category and men there are 2 students in the high category.
