Abstract
Based on the experience when working with the students in class, it was found that many students were not familiar in working with computer. It was also found that there was no research conducted before to find out the ability of students in this area. This research aimed at finding out students’ knowledge about computer programs at the Department of Educational Administration, Faculty of Educational Science, Universitas Negeri Makassar. The research subject consisted of students of the Department from different year of enrollment. The data collection was done by using questionnaire. The result showed that students still have less knowledge about computer programs that can be used in the field they are studying now.
