Abstract
Abstrak One of the attitudes and behaviors implanted through the school environment is independence. Child independence is closely related to children as individuals who have interpersonal intelligence and social skills that impact on the ability of children to understand the demands of the environment against him and adjust his behavior manifested in the behavior of independence. Development of interpersonal intelligence, can be done with elaboration learning, ie learning is presented by digging the potential of the child to be developed in the interaction in the classroom. Social skill is a skill that can be learned by a person from an early age about the pattern of relating to others through ways that are accepted by the environment and can be mutually beneficial, not only benefiting him but also benefiting others.
