Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation factor, achievement, family, and the campus toward accounting education student motivation to follow Professional Education Teacher partially or simultaneously. This research is quantitative research. The population is all students of accounting education class of 2011-2014, who are still active as many as 392, and the sample amounted to 120 people. Data collection techniques used was questionnaires, documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used was analysis of data validation and statistical analysis of data using SPSS 20 for windows. Results of multiple linear regression equation obtained among economic factor, achievement, family, and the campus toward the accounting education student motivation to follow the professional education of teachers, Y = 2,323 + 0,479X1 + 0,168 X2 + 0,134 X3 + 0,089 X4 . Coefficient of multiple correlation (R) is equal to 0.655. This value shows the relationship in the low category. While the coefficient of determination (r2) = 0.429 or 42.9%, which means that the contribution of economic factor, achievement, family, and the campus of the accounting education student motivation to follow the professional education of teachers by 42.9%, while the remaining 57.1% determined by other factors outside the study. This means that the hypothesis is accepted. Economic factor, achievement, family, and the campus have influence toward the motivation of the accounting education student to follow the professional education of teachers, both partially or simultaneously.
