Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of education agents with IPS learning achievement in elementary school students Inpres 5/76 Manurunnge. This research uses ex post facto method with multiple correlation analysis. The population is elementary school students Inpres 5/76 Manurunnge. Based on the sample is 40 students who obtained a simple random sample. The research instrument is questionnaire and IPS learning achievement test in the form of objective. To test the hypothesis of data analysis with simple correlation test and multiple correlation. The results of this study indicate that the application of inquiry method in the learning process of IPS in the students has a positive value, because it was found that the group of students who were taught by using inquiry method of achievement obtained better when compared with the achievements obtained by the students who were taught by not using the method of inquiry .
