Abstract
Summary: Amiruddin Tawe, Economic Studies About the Causes of poverty in Rural Mojong Sidrap. Based on the result of data analysis and discussion that has been described on the causes of poverty in rural Mojong Sidrap as discussed in the previous chapter. It can be deduced the factors that influence the following number of family members that work still needs to be given training and edequate knowledge so that it can cope whit the number of families covered, in addition to the services of the relevant parties (the government) will be needed, especially the fulfillment of health, education and employment opportunities for residents in the village. Of the various indicators of poverty adiharapkan government help to reduce the number of poor people that there can be insurmountable little by little. Some technical measures by government, especially on keeping price stability of basic commodities, Encouranging growthpro-poor, improve and expand the scope of community-based development programs. The program aims to improve the synergy and optimization of community development in rural and urban areas and to strengthen the provision of support for the development of business opportunities for the poor in Desea Mojong Kebupaten Sidrap.
