Abstract

The development of interactive multimedia in Environmental change materials aims to produce a learning media that is valid and practical. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) using ADDIE development model, which has included analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Interactive Multimedia developed in the form of images, text, videos, animations and quizzes are incorporated in the form of mind maps. The applications used are Mindjet mind manager and Quiz creator. The product validity test was carried out by two expert validators in the form of interactive multimedia assessment instruments, assessment instruments, teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The product practicality test was carried out at SMA 08 Makassar with 2 teachers of biological studies and 30 students in class X MIPA 4. The results of the expert validators have showed that the products developed in deserves to be used as the value of interactive Mulrimedia assessment instrument of 4.56; and 4.63 assessment instruments of teacher response and students are 4.56 (very valid). The practicality of the media had obtained by teacher’s responses with the value of 95.00 (very practical) and student’s responses with the value of 84.58 (very practical). Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the development of interactive multimedia in environmental change materials was valid and practical.
