Abstract

PENGARUH MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATERI SISTEM INDERA MANUSIA SISWA SMA NEGERI 8 MAKASSAR THE INFLUENCE OF PROJECT BASED LEARNING MODEL ON MOTIVATION AND LEARNING OUTCOMES ON THE SENSORY SYSTEM MATERIAL OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 8 MAKASSAR Wahyuni Akhmad1), A. The independent variables in this study are the PjBL model and the conventional learning model, while the dependent variable is the motivation and learning outcomes of students on the subject matter of the sensory system. The population in this study were all class XI IPA students of Senior High School 8 Makassar as many as 4 classes, while the sample was class XI IPA 3 as the experimental class with 35 students and class XI IPA 2 with 35 students as the control class. Research data obtained by providing a pretest and posttest where there is a multiple choice test which refers to the indicators of motivation and learning outcomes test in the form of multiple choices. There are two types of data analysis techniques used, namely descriptive analysis techniques and inferential analysis techniques (Normality, Homogeneity, Anacova). Based on the analysis, the average value of students' motivation in the experimental class before being treated was 122.4 (sufficient category) and after being treated was 130.1 (good category), while the average score of students in the control class before being taught using the conventional model was 87.2 (poor category). ) and after being taught it was 94.5 (sufficient category). The average value of learning outcomes obtained by students in the experimental class before being treated was 58.2 (poor category) and after being given treatment was 82.1 (good category). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the PiBL model in the learning process affects the motivation and learning outcomes of class XI IPA students of Senior High School 8 Makassar on the Sensory System material.
