Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect practice of DRTA method through story reading activity to learning procces in Indonesian learning students class V at SDN 65 Parepare and determine the effect practice of DRTA method in improving the studyresult of Indonesian Learning students in class V at SDN 65 Parepare. The research approach used is qualitative with the type of classroom action research. The focus of this research is focus of process and focus of results with research subjects are teachers and students of class V SDN 65 Parepare. The instruments used were tests, observations and documentation. Analysis of the data used is data reduction, presenting data, and conclusions or verification. Study result of student in the I cycle and II cycle are still in the category less (K), but there is an increase from cycle I to cycle II. Whereas in cycle III it is already in the good category (B). The conclusion is the practice of Directed Reading Thingking Activity (DRTA) method can increase study result of students class V at SDN 65 Parepare.
