Abstract

Pendidikan Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Makassar Jl. Raya Pendidikan Makassar Email : fataikafatika34@gmail.com SUMMARY This research aimed to study the influence of summative test on students’ learning motivation in the subject of accounting program for government institutions class XI accounting skills program at SMK Negeri 2 Sidrap. The variable in this research was the summative tes as the independent variable and the student’ motivation as the dependent variable. The population was all of the students of class XI accounting skills program consisting of 66 students. The sampling technique used a saturated sample technique with a sample of as much population. The data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The data analyzed using instrument test and hypothesis test with used SPSS 25 windows. The instrument testing consist of the validity test and reliability test. Hypothesis testing consists of simple linear regression analysis, T-table test, and the coefficient of determination. Based on the result of the analysis conducted, a simple linear regression equation model was obtained Y= 22.224 + 0.245X means summative test had significantly influenced students’ learning motivation which each addition of 1 value of the summative test then the students’ learning motivation has increased by 0.245. the result of the T-table test was obtained the significant value by 0.001>0.05 means that summative test had significantly influenced students’ learning motivation so that the hypothesis was accepted. The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) earned value R2= 14,9% means that the summative test had a contribution to students’ learning motivation by 14,9% and the rest 84.3% influenced by the other factors not researched.
