Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to know a difference of Mathematics learning outcomes between the students taught by using cooperative learning model of STAD type and the one using conventional learning model through by the learning interest and the interaction between cooperative learning model of STAD type and learning interest on Mathematics learning outcomes. The study was quasy-experiment. The population of the study was grade V students at SD Inpres Tamalanrea I in Makassar city. Samples were selected by employing purposive sampling technique. The instrumens used were questionnaire of Mathematics learning interest and test of Mathematics learning outcomes. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics analysis and inferential analysis with variants analysis. The result of the study reveal that there is difference of Mathematics learning outcomes between the students taught by using cooperative learning model of STAD type and the one using conventional learning model through by the learning interest and there is no interaction between cooperative learning model of STAD type and learning interest on Mathematics learning outcomes.
