Abstract

This study aims to compare the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model type TSTS-TGT and cooperative learning model type TSTS-TGT in the Linear Program material . Comparison of the intended effectiveness is seen from (1) student learning outcomes , (2) student activities , (3) response s students . This type of research is quasi-experimental research (Quasi expeiment) . The population in this study were all students of class X of the Indonesian Association of Maros Vocational School and the sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental group I, namely the TSTS- NHT type cooperative model. and experimental group II, which was taught using a cooperative model type TSTS-TGT which was taken by using simple random sampling technique (simple random sampling). The instruments used in this study were RPP, THB, carried out by observing the activities of students , questionnaire responses s students , Learning Implementation Observation Sheet , LKS. Data collected consists of student learning outcomes , data on student activities in learning and data response s learners about devices and learning. Data on student activities and responses of students were analyzed usingon average while the data on student learning outcomes were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of the study show that the application of the TSTS- NHT cooperative learning model in the category very effective with student learning outcomes in the high category with an average of87 , 2 8, median 88 , maximum 100, minimum 74 and the standard deviation of 6.12 . And an increase in the ability of students significantly from Pree-test to post-test, with an average value of a gain of 0.78,learners in learning activities that are in the active category, and the response s students of the device in learning are in the positive category . Whereas in the application of cooperative learning model typeTSTS- TGT is in the category of being quite effective with student learning outcomes in the high category with an average of 83.26 , median 8 4 , maximum 100, minimum 70 and standard devision of 6.06 .And there is an increase in the ability of students who are significant from the pree-test to post-test, with an average gain of 0.7 2 . The activities of students in learning are in the active category and responses students of the device in learning are in the positive category . Hypothesis test results at a significant level = 0.05 with the t test showing that learning with the cooperative learning model type TSTS- NHT more effective than the cooperative learning model of the TSTS- TGT type Linear Program material in class X Maros Indonesian Unity Vocational School .
