Abstract
Abstract: This research uses quantitative descriptive research with expost facto approach. This study describes the quality of problems based on classical test theory using Microsoft Excel. The purpose of this study is to know the quality of the problem with the classical test theory approach. The indicators analyzed are the level of problem difficulty, differentiation of the problem, and effectiveness of the problem. Technique of collecting data is done by documentation method in the form of problem card, lattice, question sheet and student answer sheet. The results showed that the problem of high school mathematics problems in SMA Bantaeng TP TP. 2017-2018 consisting of 30 items, based on theoretical analysis of classical tests with regard to the level of difficulty item, the ability of different power problems and the effectiveness of the problem, it is concluded that there are 11 items or amounting to 36.67% which has a quality category a good question and 19 items or 63.33% with poor grain quality. Key Words: Classical Test Theory Abstrak: Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan expost facto. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kualitas soal berdasarkan teori tes klasik dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Tujuan dari penelitian ini salah satunya adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas soal dengan pendekatan teori tes klasik. Indikator yang dianalisis adalah tingkat kesukaran soal, daya beda soal, dan keefektifan pengecoh soal. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi berupa kartu soal, kisi-kisi, lembar soal dan lembar jawaban siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa soal USBN mata pelajaran matematika tingkat SMA di Kabupaten Bantaeng TP. 2017-2018 yang terdiri dari 30 butir soal, berdasarkan analisis secara teori tes klasik dengan memperhatikan tingkat kesukaran butir soal, kemampuan daya beda soal dan efektif tidaknya pengecoh soal, maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat 11 butir soal atau sebesar 36,67% yang memiliki kategori kualitas soal yang baik dan 19 butir soal atau 63,33% dengan kualitas butir soal kurang baik.
