Abstract
ABSTRACT This research aims to indicates the influence of family environment and learning interest simultaneously toward students’ learning motivation in class XII accounting department at SMK Negeri 4 Makassar and to indicate the influence of family environment and learning interest partially toward students’ learning motivation in class XII accounting department at SMK Negeri 4 Makassar. The variables in this research are family environment (X1), learning interest (X2) and learning motivation (Y) as measured by Likert Scale. The population is the entire students of class XII accounting department at SMK Negeri 4 Makassar that consists of 138 students. The sampling technique uses random sampling and the sample is 58 students. Technique of data collection used is questionnaire. Techniques of data analysis used are classical assumption test, multiple analysis regression, f test, t test, and coefficient of determination. The results of data analysis show that family environment and learning interest simultaneously have significant effect on learning motivation with significant level <0,05. Family environment partially has a significant positive effect on learning motivation with significance value <0,05, and learning interest partially has a significant positive effect on learning motivation with significance value <0,05. In addition, the coefficient of determination (adjusted R) is equal to 0.418 (41.8%). This means that the influence of family environment and learning interest toward learning motivation is 41,8% the rest of 58,2% influenced by other factors not examined.
