Abstract
ABSTRAK Yuliana Donggi Hanas.2013. Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan Sikap Professional Guru terhadap Kinerja Guru di Madrasah Aliyah Kota Baubau Propinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. (Dibimbing oleh Andi Agustang dan Mukhlis Manakku). Kinerja guru sangatlah dibutuhkan dalam rangka pelaksanaan tugas kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah, agar tujuan pendidikan di sekolah dapat tercapai. Di Madrasah Aliyah Kota Baubau Propinsi Sulawesi Tenggara, terlihat kurangnya kinerja guru dalam melaksanakan tugas. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan sikap profesional guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan sikap profesional guru terhadap kinerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Kota Baubau Propinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Hipotesis yang diuji dalam penelitian ini (1) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru (2) sikap profesional guru berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, (3) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan sikap profesional guru berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini melibatkan 51 responden, mereka adalah para guru Madrasah Aliyah Kota Baubau Propinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Sampel dengan menggunakan tekhnik “Simpel random sampling”..Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan data angket model skala likert. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan statistik yaitu statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah tergolong baik, sikap profesional guru tergolong baik dan kinerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Kota Baubau Propinsi Sulawesi Tenggara tergolong baik. Selain kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan sikap profesional guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap guru secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama. ABSTRACT YULIANA DONGGI HANAS. 2013. The study at examining the leadership of the principil and profesional attitude of teachers toward teacherrs’ performance at Madrasah Aliyah in Baubau of Southeast Sulawesi province. The hypothesis tested in the study were (1) whether the leadership of the principal gives influence toward teachers’ performance, (2) whether the profesional attitude of the teachers give influence toward teacherrs’ performance, and (3) whether the leadership of the principal and the profesional attitude of the teachers gives influence toward teachers’ performance. The subjects of the study were 51 respondents who were the teachers at Madrasah Aliyah in Baubau of Southeast Sulawesi Province. Samples were chosen by employing simple random sampling technique. Data were collected by using questionnaire of Likert scale model. Data of the quantitative research used statistics, namely descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the study revealed that the leadership of the principal was categorized good, the profesional attitude of teachers was categorized good, and teachers’ performance at Madrasah Aliyah in Baubau of Southeast Sulawesi province was categorized good. Moreover, the leadership of the principal and the profesional attitude of the teachers gave positif and signifikan influence toward teachers’ individually collaboratively.
