Abstract

ABSTRAK TRIANA KARYAWATI, Implementasi Kepemimpinan Transformasional dalam Konteks Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah, studi kasus pada SD InpresHartaco Indah Makassar (dibimbing oleh Hamsu Gani dan Abdul Salam) ManajemenBerbasissekolahsebagai paradigmabarupendidikantelahmenempatkanfigurkepalasekolahsebagaifaktor penentudalampencapaianvisimisidantujuansekolah.Begitubanyakragam model ataupunpendekatankepemimpinan yang dapatdilakukanolehkepalasekolah.Beberapakajianstudiantara lain oleh Abu Duhou (1999) dangagasan yang dikemukakanSuyanto (2003) tentangperlunyaseorangkepalasekolahuntukmengadopsi model kepemimpinantransformasionaldalampenyelenggaranMenajemen Berbasis Sekolah di sekolah. Denganmenggunakan model inidiyakiniakanmampumelahirkankepalasekolah yang kuat, visioner, partisipatifdandemokratisdalammengembantugastugas di sekolah. Bertolakdaripemikiranitulahpenelitimerasaterdoronguntukmelakukanstudi yang difokuskanpadapengenalanbentukkepemimpinantransformasionalmelaluiperankepalasekolahditinjaudarikarisma,konsiderasi individual, stimulasiintelektualdan Inspirasional Motivasional dalamimplementasinyauntukmewujudkanMenejemen Peningkatan MutudalamkonteksManajemenBerbasisSekolah. Jenispenelitian yang digunakanadalahdenganpendekatankualitatif yang meliputikegiatan yang sistematikuntukmendapatjawabanataspermasalahan yang diajukanmelaluifokuspenelitian. Instrumenutamadalampenelitianiniadalahpenelitisendiriuntukturunlangsungkelokasipenelitiandenganmenggunakanalatbantupedomanwawancara. Pengumpulan data dilakukandenganmenggunakanteknikpengamatanberperanserta, dokumentasi,literaturterkaitdanwawancara.Sambilpengumpulan data dilakukan, data tersebutdianalisisuntukmemberikanjawabanataspertanyaanpertanyaan yang terkaitdenganfokus penelitian. HasilpenelitianmenunjukkanbahwakepalasekolahpadaSekolah DasarInpreshartaco Indah menampilkan model kepemimpinantransformasionaldantelahmengimpementasikannyadalampenyelenggaranMenajemen Berbasis Sekolahbaikdalampengelolaanbelajar, pengelolaankeuangan, pengembangankarir guru sertahubungandenganmasyarakat.Komponenkarisma,konsiderasi individual, stimulasiintelektualdan Inspirasional Motivasional telahdioperasionalkandalamberbagaikegiatandanperankepalasekolahsecaraterintegrasidanbersinergisuntukpencapaianvisi, misi, dantujuansekolah yang efektifdanefisien. ABSTRACT TRIANA KARYAWARTI, Implementation of Transformational Leadership in School-Based Management, a case study in Base School HartacoIndah Makassar (guided by HamsuGani and Abdul Salam) School-Based Management as a new paradigm of education has put a figure head of the school as a determinant factor in the achievement of the vision, mission and goals for the school. So many different models or approaches to leadership by the principal.Several studies including studies by Abu Duhou (1999) and the ideas presented Suyanto (2003) about the need for a school principal to adopt a transformational leadership model in the delivery of School Base Management. By using this model is believed to be able to bring a strong principal, visionary, participatory and democratic in the task assignment in school. Starting from the idea that researchers felt compelled to do a study that focused on the introduction of a form of transformational leadership through the role of the principal terms of charisma, individualized consideration, intellectual stimulation and insprirasional motivasional in their implementation to realize Management Quality in the context of School-Based Management. Type of research is a qualitative approach which includes the systematic untukmendapat answers to the problems posed by the research focus. The main instrument in this study is the researchers themselves to go straight to the study site using tools interview guide. The data was collected using participant observation techniques, documentation, relevant literature and interviews. While data collection, the data was analyzed to provide answers to questions related to the research focus. The results showed that the principal on the presidential primary hartaco Beautiful display model and has mengimpementasikannya transformational leadership in organizing both Management Base School learning management, financial management, career development of teachers as well as community relations. Components charisma, individualized consideration, intellectual stimulation and Inspirasional Motivasional has been operationalized in a variety of activities and the role of the principal in an integrated and synergism to achieve the vision, mission, and objectives of effective and efficient schools
