Abstract
This research is a qualitative research by using descriptive approach that aims to describe the learning activities of student of high achievement in learning mathematics. The subjects of this study were three students of SMP IslamAthirah Makassar had the highest mathematical report and had followed the mathematics olympiad. To know the learning habits of students of high achievementSMP IslamAthirah Makassar conducted several techniques of data collection that is observation, interview, and field notes. The data analysis techniques used are data exposure, data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. Based on the results of the study and discussion obtained learning activities mathematics of student of highachievement SMP Islam Athirah Makassar is paying attention and listen to the teacher's explanation well, writing / recording material written by his teacher, actively ask questions and answer questions from his teacher, always expressed opinion, became tutor in class, immediately doing the tasks given by her teacher, always doing the exercises of the Olympics, always taking the time to study mathematics in school and outside school, studying mathematics in various references, following the tutorial of studying olympiad at school, follow the guidance of study or courses outside school, follow the quarantine at school before the Olympic race.
