Early childhood educators who develop effective, growth-promoting collegial relation- ships; advovate for better working conditions, salaries and create optimal program environments for children are helping to build a professional identity. Before teachers can do the best job of educating early childhood professionals must review knowledge about children and how they learn, and must stand together, united as a profession. Competent teachers of childhood education is formulate a thoughtfull educational phi- losophy, link developmental theory and educational practice, develop child centered, age appropriate curriculum, evaluate the effectiveness of classroom practices and teaching strategies, and contribution to the professionalization of the field ofearly childhood edu- cation. The most important factor in the implementation of high-quality program for early childhood education is the expertise of the teachers. Colleges and universities offer teacher training program in early childhood education throught departments of early child education. Training programs must include a variety ofpractical experiences culminating with student teaching, and must emphasize the integration of the theory and practice. Throught in service training program can used block time or semi block time. The teacher training programs result in a bachelor's degree, which is necessary to obtain state certification to teach in early childhood education
