Abstract

ABSTRACT The research was Research and Development (R&D). The development model of the research employed 4D development model. The model consisted of four activity stages, namely: a) define, b) design, 3) development, and 4) dissemination. The objective of the research was to produce textbook and Augmented Reality which were valid, practical, and effective. The assessment instrument consisted of three, namely 1) validity instrument in a form of validity assessment instrument of textbook and Augmented Reality, 2) practicality instrument in a form of teachers and students’ responses questioner on textbook and Augmented Reality, 3) effectiveness instrument in a form of students’ learning outcome evaluation test. Based on the data analysis, it was obtained the validity average of the textbook and Augmented Reality by two expert assessors namely 4.24 (valid) and 4.3 (valid) respectively. Media practicality obtained teachers’ responses by 4.4 (high) and 4.1 (high). Media effectiveness score obtained 89% students that reached learning completeness score. Based on the result pf the research, it could be concluded that textbook and augmented reality that were developed were valid, practical and effective.
