Abstract
The aim of this research was to describe the level and form of solidarity of five foot trader in Terong market Makassar. The collection of data conducted by survey and direct interview to 11 informan collected purposively after analyzed then taken the conclusion that the solidarity of five footer trader classified in high level. This proved by (l) the attention among them, (2) help each other in any things, (3) visiting each other, (4) collective action if there were the treatment, (5) the other relationship related with the social interaction. While the form of solidarity classified in the mechanic solidarity. This proved by (l) there was not clear description, (2) every member conducted their own business, (3) independence between each other; (4) the collective consciousness towards the activity threaten them.
