Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the social life of pete-pete driver communities in the city of Makassar. Data was collected through surveys and interviews of the pete-pete driver as informants dranwn porvosif sampling, after the data analysis of the obtained results, that the drivers pete-pete kta Makassar doing activities every day from morning till night. They do the interactions between them, even though they are not acquainted with each other, unless there are certain groups that are not formal. Interacting with the owners of cars with some agreement that binds both. They finance the needs of families from the income derived from activities as a daily driver (tenant). This causes them not often perform deviant behavior, especially in getting the passengers, and this is also usually tiger unhealthy competition among them. keywords: socio-economic life.
