Abstract
ABSTRAK Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS adalah salah satu tipe pembelajaran yang menempatkan peserta didik dalam belajar heterogen. Guru menyampaikan materi pembelajaran kemudian peserta didik bekerja dalam kelompok secara heterogen untuk memastikan bahwa seluruh anggota kelompok menguasai materi pembelajaran tersebut. TPS adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif yang dikembangkan oleh Profesor Frank Lyman di Universitas of Maryland pada 1981, dalam melaksanakannya meliputi tiga komponen utama yaitu: think, pair, dan share. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Duampanua Pinrang. (2) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Duampanua Pinrang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII.2 semester genap SMP Negeri 2 Duampanua Pinrang tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Banyaknya peserta didik 28 orang dan kelas VIII2 dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terjadi peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Duampanua Pinrang (2) Terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Duampanua Pinrang. (supervised by Nurdin Asryad dan Suradi Tahmir) Cooperative learning of TPS type is one of learning types that put students in heterogeneous learning. Teacher delivers learning material then students work in groups heterogeneously to ensure that all of the groups master the learning material. TPS is a cooperative learning which is developed by Lyman from Maryland University in 1981 which is conducted in 3 main components, namely think, pair, and share. This study aims at examining (1) the improvement Of students' learning interest by applying cooperative learning of TPS type to grade VIII students at SMPN 2 Duampanua in Pinrang, (2) the improvement of students' learning result by applying cooperative learning of TPS type to grade VIII students at SMPN 2 Duampanua in Pinrang. The study is a classroom action research. The population of the study was the entire students of grade VIII.2 of the second semester at SMPN 2 Duampanua in Pinrang of academic year 2016/2017. The samples were 28 students of grade V1112 taught by applying cooperative learning model of TPS type. The results of the study reveal that (l) there is improvement of learning interest by applying cooperative learning ofTPS type to grade VIII students at SMPN 2 Duampanua in Pinrang, (2) there is improvement of learning result by applying cooperative learning of TPS type to grade VIII students at SMPN 2 Duampanua in Pinrang.
