Abstract
Abstract: Smash is one form of attack that can killthe opponent's defense as well as to obtain the value or point. In the game of badminton, smash is one technique that plays an important role, failed and successful team in the game or match is determined by the player's skill in doing smash. By mastering technique a good smash, then the team will easily win a match. This study aims, among others, (1) to determine the contribution of the explosive power of arms to the abilityof a smash in badminton game, (2) to determine the contribution of flexibility togok to the back of the ability of a smash in badminton game, and (3) to determine the contribution of the explosive power of arms and flexibility togok to the back of the ability of a smash in badminton game. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The study population was all the athletes BKMF Badminton Nikken UNM with a sample size of 30 people. Data analysis technique used is the technique of correlation and regression analysis using SPSS version 15 o'clock systems at significant level of 95% or 00,05. Based on the results of data analysis, the study concludes that: 1) the explosive power of arms has contributed to the ability to smash in the game of badminton athletes Badminton BKMF Nikken UNM 68.6%, (2) flexibility togok to the rear contributes to the ability to smash badminton game at UNM Nikken badminton Athletes BKMF of 80.9%, (3) explosive power and flexibility togok arm to the rear contributes to the ability of a smash in badminton game at UNM Nikken badminton Athletes BKMF of 84.8%.
