Abstract

ABSTRACT The new paradigm of Mathematics education emphasizes more on fun and innovative learning so students are more motivated to learn Mathematics. One of innovative learning is the use of learning media both electronic or material. Such as cube, frame and block. The research conducted learning by using both media in two classes where one class used WebCT media and the other used conventional media cube frame and block). The medias were choosen because they were suitable with the material, namely three dimension. The research is experiment which aims (1) to describe the students’ learning results before and after being taught by using WebCT media of cooperative setting, the students’ activities, and the students’ motivations. (2) to describe the students’ learning results before and after being taught by using conventional media, the students’ activities, and the student’s motivations. (3) to discover the difference of Mathematic Learning results between the students who were taught by WebCT learning media and the students who werw taught by using conventinal learning media, (4) to examine the difference of motivation between the students who were taught by using conventinal learning media. The results of the research reveal that (1) the students’ learning result after being taught by using WebCT learning media is improve. It can be seen from the learning results which achieve the average 79,95 with deviation standard 8.143, the students are actively follow the learning, and the students have high motivation toward the learning, (2) the students’ learning result after being taught by using conventional learning media is improve. It can be seen from the learning results which achieve the average 73,35 and deviation standard 9.388, the students are actively follow the learning, the students have high motivation toward the learning, (3) three Dimension learning by using WebCT media of cooperative setting with conventional learning which implemented in class X IPS at SMAN 4 Watampone are stated as the same (no difference), (4) there is no difference of motivation between the students who were taught by using webCT media and the students who were taught by using conventional media.
