Abstract

This study examines the ability to recognize numbers through the use of numerical maze in class II autistic students. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to increase the ability to recognize numbers through the use of numerical maze media in class II autistic students. The purpose of this research is to find out: (1) the ability to recognize the numbers of class II autistic students before using the numerical maze, (2) the ability to recognize the numbers of class II autistic students after using the numerical maze, (3). Improving the ability to recognize numbers for second grade autistic students through the use of numerical maze. This research approach is a quantitative approach to the type of descriptive research. The data collection technique used is the action test technique. The subject in this study was a class II autistic student. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. The results showed that (1) the ability to recognize numbers in class II autistic students before the application of numerical maze media was in the incapacitated category. (2) The ability to recognize numbers in class II autistic students after applying the numerical maze is in the capable category. (3) increasing the ability to recognize numbers in class II autistic students at SLB Negeri 1 Gowa before implementation was still in the category of being unable to become capable after using numerical maze media.
