ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan penerapan pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe TGT berdasarkan teori permainan Dienes (studi pada materi fungsi komposisi & invers di kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro). Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Bungoro dan sampel yakni kelas XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diplih menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data hasil belajar siswa, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, data aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran, dan data respons peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar matematika peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan data hasil belajar matematika peserta didik pada pre-test bahwa nilai mean 18,03 dan deviasi standar 6,614, sedangkan pada post-test bahwa nilai mean 75,88 dan deviasi standar 7,458, tingkat ketuntasan secara klasikal pada pre-test tidak ada yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimum sedangkan pada post-test sebesar 67,7% dalam kategori tuntas, rata-rata gain ternormalisasi berada pada kategori tinggi. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berada dalam kategori baik dengan skor rata-rata 3,34. Sedang respons peserta didik terhadap penerapan pembelajaran inquiry setting kooperatif dengan pendekatan pemecahan masalah minimal berada pada kategori positif dengan skor rata-rata 3,23. Secara umum disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berdasarkan teori permainan Dienes jika ditinjau dari aspek keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, aktivitas siswa dan respon siswa maka model koopeatif tipe TGT berdasarkan teori permainan Dienes efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Namun jika ditinjau dari aspek hasil belajar, belum efektif diterapkan karena persentase siswa yang tuntas secara klasikal dibawah 75%. ABSTRACT Sri Wahyuni. 2016. This reseach aimed to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learnig models of TGT type based on Dienes game theory(Study on Function of Composition and Invers Material in Class XI IPA at SMA Neg.1 Bungoro). The research was pre-experiment. The population of the research were all of the student in class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Bungoro and the sample was class XI IPA 5 as experiment class choosen by using cluster random sampling technique. The data of the research consisted of students’ learning result, learning implementation, students’ activities in learning, and students’ responses on learning. The data of the research were analized by using descriptive and inferential analysis. The result of the research showed that students’ mathematics achievement in the experiment class ware in medium category. Based on the pre-test achievement in learning mathematic, the mean score is 18,03 with deviation standard 6,61; whereas in post-test, the mean score is 75,88 with deviation standard 7,458, and the level of clasical completeness in pretest did not reach minimum completeness criteria; whereas, the post-test was 67,7% in complete category, and the average of normalized gain was in high category. Learning implementation was in good category with the average score 3,34. The students’ activities in learning minimally were in good category with the average score 3,4;whereas, the students’ responses on the implementation of cooperatif learning of TGT type based on Dienes game teory minimally in positive category with the average score 3,23. In generally, it can be concluded that cooperative learning models of TGT type based on Dienes game theory if it was reviewed from learning implementation aspect, students’ activities, and students’ responses, the cooperative learning models of TGT type based on Dienes game theory was effective to be implemented in learning. However, when it was reviewed from learning result aspect, it was yet effective to be implemented because the student’s percentage who reached clasicall completeness was below 75%.
