Abstract

ABSTRAK ARNI ABDULLAH. 2016. Efektifitas Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif dengan Pendekatan Quantum - Scientific dalam Pembelajaran Matematika di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Ma’rang (dibimbing oleh Nurdin Arsyad dan Awi Dassa). Model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan quantum-scientific merupakan pembelajaran yang melibatkan aktivitas kerjasama berbasis kebergantungan positif dan pembagian tugas yang jelas untuk membentuk peserta didik yang cakap, kreatif, mandiri, dengan belajar menyenangkan untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang lebih maksimal, dengan demikian sebagai acuan untuk melakukan perlakuan pembelajaran matematika dikelas maka digunakan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan quantum-scientific, pertanyaan yang muncul dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan quantum-scientific efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika ditinjau dari aktivitas, respon, dan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Ma’rang?. Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan quantum-scientific dalam pembelajaran matematika ditinjau dari aktivitas, respon, dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental yang dilakukan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Ma’rang. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif dan secara inferensial. Perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan antara lain, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Buku siswa dan Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD). Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik, tes hasil belajar dan angket respon peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa hasil analisis deskriptif dan inferensial menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan quantum-scientific efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika materi kubus dan balok siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Ma’rang ditinjau dari aspek (a) rata-rata skor hasil belajar peserta didik lebih besar dari 69,9 (KKM) dan rata-rata skor gain ternormalisasi lebih besar dari 0,29 (kategori sedang), (b) rata-rata aktivitas belajar peserta didik lebih besar 3,5 (kategori sangat aktif), (c) rata-rata respons peserta didik lebih dari 50% positif (Kategori positif). Disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan quantum-scientific efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika materi kubus dan balok siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Ma’rang. The Effectiveness of the Implementation of Cooperative Learning Model with Quantum-Scientific Approach in Mathematics Learning in Class VIII at SMPN 3 Ma’rang (Supervised by Nurdin Arsyad and awi Dassa). Cooperative learning model with quantum-scientific approach is learning that involes cooperative activity based on positive dependence and clear task division to build competent, creative, independence students with fun learning to reach maximal learning result. Therefore, as a reference to implement matematics learning treatment in classroom, the cooperative learning model with quantum-scientific approach is imployed. The problems of the research are: is cooperative learning model with quantum-scientific approach effective to be implemented in mathematics learning based on activity, response, and learning result of the students. The research is pre-experimental conducted in class VIII at SMPN 3 Ma’rang. The results of the research were analyzed descriptively and inferantially. The learning devices used consisted of Lesson Plan, Student’s Book, and Student’s Worksheet. The instruments used to collect the data were student’s activities observation sheet, learning result test, and student’s responses questionnaire. The result of descriptive and inferential analysis indicate that cooperative learning model with quantum-scientific approach is effective to be emplemented in mathematics learning in Cube and Block material of class VIII students at SMPN 3 Ma’rang based on the aspects (a) the average of the students learning result scoure is bigger than 69.9 (Minimum Completeness Criteria) and the average scoure of normalized gain is bigger than 0.29 (Medium Category), (b) the average of the students’ activites is bigger than 3.5 (very active category), (c) the average of the students’ responses is more than 50% positive (positive category). It is concluded that the cooperative learning model with quantum-scientific approach is effective in mathematics learning in Cube and Block material of class VIII students at SMPN 3 Ma’rang.
