Abstract

The purpose of this research was conducted (1)Knowing how to describe the use of Smart Digital learning media Book interactive powerpoint based on reading skillsbeginning of grade I students at SD Inpres Pajjaiang II Makassar City (2) Knowingwhat are the results of the initial reading ability of class I SD Inpres studentsPajjaiang II Makassar City before and after the application of learning mediaSmart Digital Boo based on interactive PowerPoint (3) Knowing the influencethe use of powerpoint-based Smart Digital Book learning mediainteractive learning on the initial reading skills of grade I students at SD InpresPajjaiang II Makassar City. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential. data analysis techniques namely descriptive and inferential. the results of the study found differences in students' beginning reading skills between the experimental and control classes. this research was carried out very effectively from each meeting there was a positive influence that had been carried out at each meeting there was an increase from the effective category to very effective the description of the initial reading ability of grade 1 students after the use of smart digital book learning media was higher than before the use of learning media from the average pretest there was an increase when given the posttest in the experimental and control classes using smart digital book learning media had a significant effect on the beginning reading ability of class I SD Inpres Pajjaiang II Makassar City.
