Abstract
The purpose of this research is (1) to find out the students’ responses to the class reading corner at SDN No. 86 Aeng Towa, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency, (2) To find out the picture of students reading interest at SDN No. 86 Aeng Towa, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency, (3) To find out whether there is an effect of providing a class reading corner on students' reading interest at SDN No. 86 Aeng Towa, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency. Data collection techniques in this study are using questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study revealed that there was an effect of the class reading corner on students' reading interest at SDN No. 86 Aeng Towa, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency, seen from the average score of the research questionnaire using descriptive statistical analysis. Then from the results of inferential statistical analysis it is known that the data generated in this study are normally distributed, homogeneous, and have a good linear relationship between variables. Testing the hypothesis using Coefficients data there is a significant effect between the class reading corner on students' reading interest at SDN No. 86 Aeng Towa, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency.
