Abstract

This thesis discusses the application of Pop-up Book learning media to improve student learning outcomes in science class IV subjects at SDN 06 Kampung Baru, East Banggae District, Majene Regency with the application of Pop-up Book media. This research is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research). The subjects of this study were fourth grade students at SDN 06 Kampung Baru. This study used a John Elliot design, while data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, documentation and tests. The results of this study indicate that the student learning process can be measured from the evaluation of cycle I and cycle II with the learning value of student activities in cycle I is still very less active and in the implementation of cycle II the learning outcomes of student activities begin to improve or increase. While the increase in learning outcomes can be measured from each cycle, learning outcomes in cycle I meeting 1 and meeting 2 have not been completed, but in cycle II, meetings 1 and meeting 2 have increased and are categorized as complete. Thus, the results of the research at SDN 06 Kampung Baru, East Banggae District, Majene Regency have been well achieved. Keywords: Learning Media, Pop-up Book, Science Learning, Learning Outcomes
