Abstract

Abstract This study examines the Application of Relaxation Techniques to Reduce Anxiety facing Student Exams in MTs DDI Lapeo. The problems in this study are: (1) What is the picture of students' anxiety levels in facing exams in MTs DDI Lapeo students?, (2) How is the implementation of relaxation techniques in reducing student anxiety in facing exams in MTs DDI Lapeo ?, (3) Is there any influence of relaxation techniques to reduce student anxiety in facing exams in MTs DDI Lapeo ?. The method in this study is quantifiable with the type of Single Subject Research research and uses the A-B-A design.. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and visual analysis. The results showed that: (1) The level of anxiety behavior of the student's exam before being given an intervention in the form of relaxation techniques was in a high category. (2) The implementation of relaxation techniques to reduce student examination anxiety in MTs DDI Lapeo was carried out for 11 meetings where 3 times baseline measurements A1, 5 times giving intervention measurement, and 3 times after giving intervention. (3) The application of relaxation techniques can reduce the anxiety behavior of student exams in MTs DDI Lapeo.
