Abstract

Abstract The research variables consist of 3, namely two independent variables (X) and one dependent variable (Y). The population of this study were all high-grade students of 40 students. The research population is less than one hundred or relatively small, so that all populations are used as a research sample of 40 students with a saturated sampling technique. Data collection using a Likert Scale questionnaire and documentation method. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and analysis prerequisite tests, namely the normality test, linearity test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that: (1) democratic parenting style, learning motivation and learning outcomes for high grade students of SD Berbantuan Karya II are classified as moderate, with parenting values 70%, learning motivation of 68% and learning outcomes of 52%. (2) there was a significant and positive relationship between democratic parenting and student learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of 0.661 at the moderate level and the contribution of variable X1 to Y of 43.7%. (3) the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes of high grade students obtained a coefficient value of 0.363 and the price of the coefficient of determinant/variable contribution of 13.2%. (4) the joint relationship between democratic parenting and learning motivation with high grade student learning outcomes is obtained Fcount = 15.061 ˃ Ftable = 3.245 with a determinant value of 44.9%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that democratic parenting and learning motivation are significantly and positively related to the learning outcomes of high school students at SD Berbantuan Karya II.
