Abstract

Abstract This study examines of applying Self-Regulated Learning Strategies to Increase Low Tahfidz Memorizing Deposits in Students at MA Ummul Mukminin. The aims of this study were: (1) To find out the student's memorization deposit in the tahfidz subject at MA Ummul Mukminin. (2) To find out the description of the application of self-regulated learning strategies in student memorization deposits in tahfidz subjects at MA Ummul Mukminin. (3) To find out the application of self-regulated learning strategies can increase students' memorization deposits in tahfidz subjects at MA Ummul Mukminin. This approach uses a quantitative approach with the type of research Single Subject Research (SSR) and uses an A-B-A design. The subjects in this study were 2 students of class X IPA 2 MA Ummul Mukminin who had low memorization deposits in tahfidz subjects. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and visual analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) The level of students' memorization deposit before being given treatment in the form of self-regulated learning strategies is in the low category. (2) The implementation of self-regulated learning strategies to increase students' memorization deposit in tahfidz subjects was carried out for 16 meetings where 4 times baseline measurement A1, 8 times giving intervention measurement, and 4 times after giving intervention. (3) The application of self-regulated learning strategies can increase students' memorization deposits in tahfidz subjects.
