Abstract

Learning about leadership teaches that leadership has an important role in achieving competitive advantage of an organization. Leadership is the ability to direct others to work together to achieve organizational goals. Entrepreneurial leadership reflects an entrepreneurial leadership. That, innovative leaders are needed who are expected to be able to bring the organization to survive and excel in competition. The aim of this study is to develop a conceptual framework relating to the identification of characteristics of entrepreneurial leadership. This type of research is literature study, the analysis is carried out based on the review of theoretical references relevant to the research objectives. The results of the study conclude that, conceptually, entrepreneurial leadership is a leader who has the ability as: 1) innovator, 2) opportunity seeker, 3) risk taker, 4) resource allocator, and 5) decision maker.
