Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine: 1. Comparison of the effect of small game and conventional in the heating of the interest of the students to follow the learning volleyball. 2. The effect of small game and conventional in the heating of the interest of the students to follow the learning volleyball. In this study, using a randomized control group pre-test post-test design. This study population is a Class VIII student of SMPN 33 Makassar. And the sample is numbered 24 class VIII B and VIII C students, totaling 26 students. The results of the analysis were obtained: 1 The experimental group with the average value of the pre-test of 125.5 and the average value of the post-test of 139.27. Then the t test calculations obtained tcount (4.01)> t table (2.011). thus it can be concluded that there is a comparison of the effect of small game and conventional in the heating of the interest of the students following the significant learning volleyball game. 2. Giving small game as a form of heating provides increased interest in class VIII SMP Negeri 33 Makassar amounted to 10.97%.
